What This App Does

It gives you 1,000 real resume words — powerful verbs, job skills, and personal traits — each with an example you can use right now. Every word is paired with a real number so employers see proof, not just talk.

Tab 1: The Reference

Your main tool. Here you'll find all 1,000 terms, searchable and filterable.

How to Search

Tap the search box and type what you're looking for: a job title ("cashier"), an action verb ("managed"), a skill ("safety"), or any word in the example.
See results instantly. The count at the top right shows how many matched.
Press "/" on your keyboard as a shortcut to jump to the search box.

How to Filter by Category

All Terms: See every word
Action Verbs: Words like "Spearheaded," "Managed," "Created"
Job Functions & Hard Skills:"Cashier," "Waiter," "Electrician"
Interpersonal & Core Attributes:"Reliable," "Patient," "Detail-oriented"

How to Copy a Bullet

Find a term you like.
Tap the copy button on the right side of that row.
A message says "Copied ✦" — the bullet is now on your clipboard.
Paste it into your resume. Edit the numbers to match your real numbers.

The Bullet Forge (Edit Mode)

Click any row in the table to open it.
Numbers are highlighted in gold — swap them for your numbers.
Tap "Copy Bullet" to copy your edited version.
Tap "Restore Original" if you mess up.
Tap the star to save it to "My Scroll."

Tab 2: Polish a Bullet

Fix weak language in your own resume.

Paste your resume line into the text box.
Tap "Examine My Bullet."
Weak words appear highlighted. Below each, you'll see why it's weak and suggestions to replace it.
Tap any suggestion to copy it.

Tab 3: Trial by Quill

A quiz to learn verbs. Perfect for practicing while you wait.

You'll see a real resume bullet with the opening verb blanked out.
Four choices appear. Pick the verb that wrote that bullet.
Tap your answer. The app tells you instantly if you're right.
Two counters show your streak and your best score.
Tap "Next Passage" to try another one.

My Scroll — Your Favorites

Save terms you love so you can use them again. They stay saved on your phone.

In the Reference tab, find a term you love.
Tap the star button on the right (or in the Bullet Forge).
The star fills in — that term is saved.
A number appears on the "MY SCROLL" button at the top.
Tap "MY SCROLL" to see all your saved terms.
Tap "Copy All Bullets" to copy every saved bullet at once.

Remember: My Scroll saves on this phone, in this app. If you clear your phone's browsing data, it clears. Screenshot your list before you do a full phone wipe!

Draw a Card

Get a random term with its example — like a fortune card for your career.

Tap the "★ DRAW A CARD" button at the top.
Tap the card to flip it over and see a random term and its bullet.
Tap "Draw Again" for another.
Tap the star to save that term to My Scroll.

Pro Tips

This app works great on phones. Scroll, tap, and copy just like texting.
For job applications: Search the Reference for terms matching the job. Build a My Scroll list with the best 5 bullets. Copy all of them into a document. Pick the 2–3 strongest for your actual resume.
Every word needs a number."Processed 300+ transactions" beats "processed transactions" every time. Add metrics.
Your work matters. Whether you've run a cash register, raised kids, worked construction, or anything else — that's real skill. This app proves it.
